Thoughts on the World

Today I received a friend an e-mail Cologne participatory newspaper . The text I already knew about, it's there probably are many versions. He is nevertheless always worth considering ...

Die Erde (NASA)

The Earth (NASA)

If we could reduce the world's population to a village of 100 souls scoring and thereby would maintain the proportions of all live on Earth peoples, this village would be composed as follows:

57 Asians, 21 Europeans, 14 Americans (North, Central and South) 8 Africans.

There were 52 women, 48 men, 30 white and 70 non-White, 30 Christians and 70 non-Christians 89 heterosexuals and 11 homosexuals.

6 people possessed 59% of the total wealth and all 6 would be from the United States, 80 were living in dilapidated homes, 70 would be illiterate 50 would suffer from malnutrition 1 would be going to die, one would have to be born here. Only one person possessed a computer and only one had a university degree.

If you look at the world in this way, the need for acceptance and understanding becomes apparent.

You should consider this: If you got up this morning and were more healthy than sick, you have drawn a better fate than the million people who will not live to see the next week.

If you were never in danger of battle, the loneliness in captivity, in agony of torture or the misery of hunger, are you better than 500 million people.

If you go to church can have without fear of threat or torture, you have more luck than 3 billion people. If you have food in your refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep, you are richer than 75% of the people on this earth.

If you have money in the bank and in your purse, you are one of the privileged 8% of this world.

If your parents are still alive and still married, you are already truly a rarity.

If you read this, you're just blessed twofold: On the one hand, because someone thought of you and to others because you are not one of the 2 billion people who can not read.

Work like you needed any money.

Love as if nobody ever done what you harm.

Dance as if no one is watching you.

Sing as if no one listen to you.

Live as though heaven on earth.

Love your child as if you it for the very first time stay in this second again in the arms.

I wish you all a nice day.
