"converts Malmsheimer relish between word play, poetry, nonsense and profundity and explores itself nor the idiocy of cabaret. This is especially clear: Malmsheimer is a speech and voice artist.
Somehow comforting is for all those who were already on the stage and had to recite something from memory that Malmsheimer uses a thick book from which he reads skillfully.
Would Malmsheimer as home reading but surely only half the fun, you have to accept with his voice, which ranges from a high falsetto over a piercing, metallic tenor, which he pretends to attack-like tantrums, but, if necessary, until the bass baritone register may fall.
Malmsheimer presents a rather incoherent grocery shops in the first part of the evening in patchwork style. Its deposits are largely apolitical, except for a strange grip in the mothballs of '68: Malmsheimer describes how his family (up to "Omma") it was good, as Chancellor Kiesinger, a worse former Nazi, was slapped publicly by Beate Klarsfeld. The best is Malmsheimer as an artist - as vocal and linguistic escape artist, the manifold bends the German language, pulls, pushes and drives to madness, words tickled until they burst with laughter, levels of style and historical language states in disorder, words upside down terms bends, short burns a linguistic fireworks!

Thank you, Mrs. Beck, for the adequate appreciation of the probably best word artist German language. I can see him live twice already, it's always a pleasure. The only drawback is that with his pace and keeps it hard to come along to capture every punch. What his skills, however, only underscores.
