On 31/08/13 a spontaneous rally outside the cathedral took place in the face of over-hitting and disturbing events of the Chemical Weapons escalation spiral towards a Syria-war, in the face of alleged evidence that are kept secret from the US ,
in view of the journey of the German Inspector General Volker Wieker to Jordan , to confer in Amman with other soldiers of the "coalition of the willing" in terms of military action against Syria. (In addition to US Chief of Staff Martin Dempsey were present: his counterparts from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey, Germany, France, Britain, Italy and Canada.)
