On the penultimate and last day of the Munich Euro-Atlantic security conference, there was a special flash "High Lite": The US Senator Joseph "Joe" Lieberman received by Federal Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle and Wolfgang Ischinger same two prizes: 1.The large Federal Cross of Merit with star and 2. the Ewald von Kleist Medal (named after the founder of the Conference in 1962 was still "Wehrkundetagung").
